How to create easy DIY Projects you’ll brag about at PTA

How to create Easy DIY Projects

how-to-create-easy-diy-projects-youll-brag-about-at-pta

What does it take to create easy DIY projects that you’ll brag about at PTA?

In my humble opinion, I think that there is a 3 step process.

Step One

Knowing what DIY project you want for your home

Step Two

Having the right tools to have success at creating your DIY project

Step Three

Connecting with the right person to help you through the steps

You have come to the right place.  We have six projects that are easy for any level of DIYer and each one lists the tools that you will need for the project.

Coming back to PinkToolGirl.com each week is the perfect place to stay connected to people who will help your step by step.

I know that you are going to love this weeks how to create easy DIY projects.  Pick your favorite and let me know if you’ve done the project. We love to see your final pictures.

Weekend DIY Projects

Tarah from Grandma’s House DIY shows us how to hide those pesky areas in our house.  She has a tutorial of how to build inexpensive closet doors.  This is perfect for laundry rooms or kitchen storage.

Kristen from Timeless Creation LLC does a delightful job at reviving a table.  These ladies have a great idea for choosing great pieces to update.  I am a fan of their color design choices.

Angie from The Country Chic Cottage features lovely metallic fall mason jar.  This project is simple this project but it will cause people to stop and look again.  I loved the red jars with contrasting gold leaves.  Perfect for fall.

Popular Hacks

Handan from The Navage Patch has a wonderful tutorial based off of a Pottery Barn favorite.  If you want a fall DIY project then check this out.  My favorite part about this is that you can use it year after year.  My kids love it because they get to use fun metal pieces to create a pumpkin.  For additional easy fall creations, check out this pumpkin made from Quikrete here.

Another easy way to update an old table is to add stencils.  I have an easy step by step tutorial to help you transform your ugly table into a centerpiece of a dining room.  Any tips I can get on how to create easy DIY projects I save on Pinterest.  You never know when you will want to update a piece of furniture in your house here.

I also am a fan of adding removable wallpaper on walls.  Check out this tutorial on how to install removable wallpaper quickly and easily here.

Renovations

I had to include this last DIY project because I love a good renovation.  This is certainly not completed in a weekend unless your DIY skills are really advanced but the outcome is always worth the wait.  We are about to start a huge room by room renovation that I know you are going to love the stories.  For now, enjoy Leslie from Wonderfully Made and her master bedroom update.

Let us know what DIY project you like the best.
