5 Favorite Fall DIY Projects

fall DIY Projects

Finding a Favorite Fall DIY Project from this group is going to be tough!

Seriously, when you look at these Favorite Fall DIY Projects, Do you get inspired or dejected?

I want to know from you.  Comment Below Please!

I look at what some of these amazing creative people do and wonder how they find the time each week to get these projects completed.

Other days, I look at the project and get inspired to get off my butt and finish the fall projects that I have waiting for me before the season is gone!

Does anyone have this “Jekyll and Hyde” approach to DIY?

Today, Pink Tool Girl is featuring some fun fall DIY projects.  Some are big projects that will take some commitment.  Some you could crank out in a few hours or less.

Painting Fall DIY Projects

Handan from The Navage Patch refurbished a tea cart.  It turned out exquisite in my opinion.  I love everything about tea parties.  This would be a perfect addition to any French-inspired home that was set up for tea any time of the day.   I am now going to be looking for a tea cart of my own.

Crafty Fall DIY Projects

Vicki and Kristen from Timeless Creations LLC  created a faux pumpkin garland.  I’ve seen several garlands throughout the year for every occasion. What I liked most about this one was that they used foam and sparkle tape to create a faux pumpkin.  It is a cute, easy, and inexpensive idea plus the garland is light enough to hang.  This is key because I used command stripes on my Advent Calendar and pulled the paint right off the wall.

Kristin and Kelli from Lolly Jane always have a way of creating something for any level of DIY.  This particular fall DIY project is easy to duplicate.  As I mentioned before, I love custom items.

I’ve used my Silhouette to cut my kids names for their book bags and I’ve used stencils for painting on pillows. Making a Cedar Name Plaque for your child’s bedroom door is a great way to set the stage for starting the school year with a fresh bedroom decor design.

Fall DIY Projects Tutorials

Tarah from Grandma’s House DIY knocked it out of the park with this functional and practical rolling pantry.  This is not a beginner project unless you already are use to building with wood.  She does give an excellent tutorial and a set of plans and building material.  I love this space saver idea.

Last, I created some fun Fall DIY Projects using Quikrete.  They are inexpensive and you can use them year after year.  I used molds to create pumpkins napkins rings, planter decorations, and drawer pulls.  There is a video tutorial of the different things you can make with Quickrete as well as step by step instructions HERE.

[…] Handan from The Navage Patch has a wonderful tutorial based off of a Pottery Barn favorite.  If you want a fall DIY project then check this out.  My favorite part about this is that you can use it year after year.  My kids love it because they get to use fun metal pieces to create a pumpkin.  For additional easy fall creations, check out this pumpkin made from Quikrete here.
