These DIY Ideas are worth your time.
Have you ever been talking with your friends and they come up with great DIY ideas?
Your friends are going to be talking about these DIY Ideas from our latest link party. There is a mixture of farmhouse chic, Victorian elegance, traditional vibe, and antique revival.
I may have just come up with my own names to describe these DIY ideas but the point is that they are really creative, trendy, and easy for you and your friends to hack!
Farmhouse Chic DIY Ideas
First- Lolly Jane once again comes up with a great yet simple idea. This farmhouse shelf has a great mixture of modern and farmhouse charm.
They give details how they made the shelf fit their style and this is certainly one DIY idea that you could do in a weekend. However, it may take you some time to find the perfect props for the shelves. These ladies really have a knack for pulling the pieces together.
Another farmhouse style DIY Ideas is from 27th and Olive. Frankly, I just fell in love with this birthday theme. It was timeless and elegant yet simple and fun.
While it is hard to pinpoint what part of this was my favorite between the baskets, healthy food, outdoor setting, 1st Birthday sign, I’d have to say I love the writing on the baskets.
It caught my eye and while I may not like celery, I wanted some because of how pretty the basket looked!!!
Antique DIY Ideas
For starters, I loved this antique revival by Grandma’s House DIY. The musician in me loved seeing an old radio stand painted fire engine red and placed as a centerpiece in the kitchen.
What a great idea! I can’t rave enough about how creative this idea is. I love it. I have my grandmother’s old Victrola that may get repurposed into a butcher block stand or bookshelf. Now I have tutorial to help me figure it out.
Next, Simply Stacie put together a great recipe for Honey Oatmeal Goat’s Milk Soap. This soap could stand alone as a bathroom or spare bedroom decor piece.
I recently was given a bar of homemade soap from a friend who owns a goat farm. I am typically a liquid soap consumer but after using goat milk soap, I am now hooked!
Victorian DIY Ideas
I am partial to Victorian Decor. The 8 Home Decor Painted Items Updated that Timeless Creations LLC came up with are wonderful.
DIY ideas are a bonus when you take a piece that you’ve had hanging around the house and find a way to paint it which changes the entire look. Paint is the perfect solution for decor pieces you just don’t want to part with just yet!
Again- I love what Timeless Creations LLC did with this table. Repurposing an old piece of furniture and restoring it to a piece of beauty is what I love about DIY project. These ladies did a great job not only reviving this sideboard but they made it a statement piece with just the right touch of decor to go with it.
Traditional DIY Ideas
Last- there are DIY Ideas that are traditional and that is why they never go out of style. Chairs need reupholstered to stay on track with a house decor. The ladies at Timeless Creations LLC do a great tutorial for anyone to follow if you’ve never changed the fabric on a dining room chair.
These DIY Ideas are certainly ones that you and your friends can hack and we would love to see pictures when you finish the project!
