Selecting three Silhouette projects for beginners is like trying to decide which fish in the tank you are taking home for the pet store.
The fish are all pretty. The fish all catch your attention. The fish are all fish but different shapes and colors and it is just so hard to decide which one will be the new house pet.
I needed three Silhouette Projects for beginners to tackle!
I’ve been contemplating which direction Pink Tool Girl was going to go when it comes to designing and creating DIY projects for you.
I said it before in Silhouette Cameo, Lights, Camera, Action, and I’ll say it again. The Silhouette Cameo can do so much that it was difficult to find a starting point.
As you can tell from my scarce articles for the past few weeks, I’ve been busy playing with my new toy to see what I like creating, what fit the Pink Tool Girl brand, and what I thought you, my wonderful readers, would like to see.
I have had a blast designing numerous projects on my Silhouette which I will be showing you over the next few weeks. I have experimented with most mediums that the Cameo can create to see which projects will help you with your home decor needs.
The three Silhouette projects for beginners that I’m featuring today stand out to me for these reasons.
- These projects are cute and small which can adjusted for each holiday and small events.
- These projects use inexpensive materials which means the cost is manageable.
- These projects can have a personal touch with minimal effort. I like creating custom pieces in my home and for others.
- These projects make great gifts.
It was hard to pick but these three Silhouette projects for beginners were my choice for best beginner ideas.

If you own a Silhouette and you are a beginner, I encourage you to tackle these projects today. They can help you learn your machine because they are simple and allow instant success which can help you to continue to create amazing items and dig deeper. I took this class online, Next Steps in Silhouette with Lori Witlock, at Craftsy.com which was very helpful.
For those of you who are fans of Pink Took Girl, I am happy to announce that I have set up a boutique where you can order some of these amazing items.
Since I bought the machine, I have been creating projects and giving them away to friends and family so they could test them out and see what they thought. Much to my delight, I have been asked for numerous orders so we are opening our first online store.
As you all know, left brain, does all of the technical side of this company and he has diligently been working on the ins and outs of our first online store.
Our GRAND OPENING will be announced soon.
If you are a subscriber, you will be receiving a 20% off coupon for your first order in your email. Spread the word to your friends on Facebook that all subscribers to PinkToolGirl.com will receive a Grand Opening coupon so they don’t miss out.
