Do you love DIY Craft and Storage Ideas?
I do. I can’t resist pinning DIY craft and storage ideas that can help me organize my house.
My features this week highlight some great crafts that you could do in a few hours or less. The storage ideas are simple but efficient.
I’m finding that if I can create my DIY craft and storage ideas out of existing materials that I have at the house, it saves me time and money. Left brain is happy that we are on budget and I’m happy because I repurposed something in my house.
How many of you have left over craft supplies that you could use for another project?
Our first feature is Mistie from Homespun Engineer who created Emoji magnets out of left over canning lids. I loved this idea. It is trendy and useful. The kids can help with the project and enjoy seeing their work displayed. This would also be great for a school craft or a Bible school craft.
Our second feature is Angie from The Country Chic Cottage. She orchestrated a rustic barn wedding. With fall bridal season ready to explode, I love her creative solution to outdoor seating. She used covered bales of hay for guests to sit on. Brilliant- unless you have allergies but that aside- I loved this idea.

The third idea featured today is Ana from The Lost Apron. She designed a book jewelry organizer that you can travel with or tote to college. I really like the originality of this tutorial.
The Fourth Feature from Lolly Jane made me laugh! I love a good sense of humor and this next craft idea hit the bulls-eye. Being from PA where we hunting season is about to start, this was the perfect kick off to all things “dear” decor.
Fifth on my featured list is from Timeless Creations LLC. I love this upcycled lamp. It is French-Inspired and it once again proves that one can of paint can make a lamp look like a high end purchase!
The Sixth and final feature is by Anika from Anika’s DIY Life. She uses spare wood to make a storage unit for her scrape pieces. Brilliant! I have an excess pile of wood piling up from summer projects. This is the perfect solution to my problem. Her tutorial will also help me build my own and I get to use my new Kreg Tool Kit. I’m really excited to learn how to use this new tool.
