What are Sexy DIY Projects?
I may have been thinking, “Are we seriously going to try to make DIY sexy?” Where can I find Sexy DIY Projects?
Left brain just looked at me looked as usual wondering what in the world was I thinking!!
One of the features below titled their project, Sexy DIY Vase.
I admit, I started to ponder why? Why Sexy? Again, what are sexy DIY Projects?
So I looked up the definition of Sexy:
SEXY- to have interesting or appealing qualities.
There you have it.
I declare that DIY is interesting and projects have appealing qualities (which is why we do DIY) therefore, we have solved this issue. Sexy DIY Projects makes complete sense by virtue of definition and we have solved this topic.
Now let’s move on to something like, World Peace.
We could just dive into the features for this week.
First off- Kimberly from LouLouGirls.com is the one who gave me the inspiration behind sexy DIY projects with this vase. Her tutorial is easy to follow and the results are appealing! Check out her DIY sexy home decor vase.
Over at LoveCreateCelebrate.com, Lindi created canvas art. The interesting and appealing part is that she created the project in an hour! That to me is epic. I am going to try my hand at this project and let you know in a future post how it turned out.
Another great ideas is by Fiona at SawitDidit.wordpress.com created the most adorable Tulle Fairy Lights. This is the first time I have seen this idea and I fell in love with it. They are the perfect decor for a girls room or for several tea party themes. I can’t wait for my next tea party. I will be using these tulle lights to set a whimsical tone.
In addition to our selections, Crystal from TheWeatheredFox.com caught my attention with painting a sink faucet without removing the fixture from the sink. Now that is interesting and appealing. Doing less work but getting a great result, those are qualities of a sexy DIY projects.
Check out this great tutorial if you are needing to change your bathroom hardware with minimal effort. I’d love to know what you think.
Finally, yours truly created a french-inspired mason jar wall art made from reclaimed wood. I found a French to English translator and took a few phrases about love and flowers and created a custom stencil with my Silhouette machine.
I started selling these French inspired home decor pieces at the Ligonier Farmers Market. Many people stopped to practice their french and I sat praying that the translation made sense.
I’ll be including a tutorial of how you can make this wall art yourself or you can stop by our boutique to purchase one. We have several different styles, shapes, colors, and recycled glass or mason jars that you can select.
IF you ask me, anything French is sexy and makes me say “ooh la la” so I will finish with this in our showcase of sexy DIY projects.
A Little Bird Told Me that you’ve been doing some amazing things! I’d love for you to share! Link up a recipe, craft, home decor project, home school post, activity/craft for kids, or any other post you’re proud of! Your post will be shown on each host’s blog where we will individually pick features each week. We’re teaming up to bring you an even bigger and better party!
